I remember last year when i was thinking about buying a tv on ebay, i put in the coupon code and went to checkout. I found they they calculated they tax then took off the percentage on original price. That made it costs more. Not sure if its the same now

You are correct. They calculate tax off the $1,497 price and then apply the 20% off coupon. At a 7% tax rate, it comes to a $20 difference in the total amount charged, vs applying the coupon first and then adding tax.

Can confirm that Electronics Express is a longstanding local Nashville electronics store that somehow outlasted Circuit City and survived Best Buy. They are legit.

There is absolutely no point buying the latest LG TV when the previous year model gets this steeply discounted. You wouldnt even notice the difference. Save your money, clearly

Also note, their EBay page says they are an authorized LG retailer/dealer. Tax to CA + mandatory recycling fee of $6 = $1361 OTD for me.
