I came here just looking for this comment. Thanks for sharing your opinion. I bought two, same purpose.
EDIT: I stand corrected. I got the GT-AX11000 Pro. Mine doesn't have 6E -- just 6. But mine has a 10 G + 2.5G port, whereas OP's has a 2.5 G port and 1 G ports. But I've been doing ASUS routers in mesh for years and they're easy to setup... and just WORK.
