Would they be comparable to Adam Audio T5V? I have a pair with their woofer but in black, so thinking to swap those out with this one. Will be driven by the WiiM .

No, if laid on their side, the ferrofluid will leak out over time, rendering the speaker lifeless. Best to keep them upright.

Love This... although I wouldn't be surprised if some people believed things like this. Kind of like headlight fluid...

Not really... I mean as far as sound quality maybe - that's subjective. The Adam Audio are not passive speakers so you have options on the back of the Adams like HF and LF filers and a level knob. Also an AMT tweeter is often thought to be 'more resolving' than traditional (round material) tweeters. That's not a rule, just a generalization. All that having been said, with the Wiim you will have way more DSP options then the Adam audio has, so you might not miss the functions on the back of the Adam. It's hard to find too many direct comparisons between passive speakers (KEF) and studio monitors (Adam), most reviewers typically only do one or the other. Personally I would guess that the KEF would probably be better quality overall, but not having heard the Adams I couldn't say for sure.

Yes, It's a Uni Q driver. It's concentric. Its will have the same dispersion horizontally or vertically.

Would these make good speakers for a TV? I know they aren't powered so need to connect to something that then connects to the TV... Any recos, budget conscious options?
You could get a Wiim amp to use these with TV. It's $300, but often drops to $240 around Black Friday. But keep in mind that wiim amp is limited to 2.1. It means that you can add a subwoofer later, but not the center speaker nor the rear speakers. Otherwise any AVR would do the job if you want a more scalable solution and have enough room.

these are excellent speakers, though please note they are HARD to drive. 4 Ohm + 86 db sensitivity. My KEF Q Concertos have the same rating and i needed to buy an emotiva A3 pre amp for them, my 4 Ohm capable Pioneer receiver was nowhere near enough, especially as it's running 5 speakers. so dont buy this thinking your receiver can run them in a home theater setup or some weak desktop amp.

I had the Q150s for about a day or so, ended up returning them to BB..
Apparently I'm an outlier, but I didn't like how they sounded - kind of 'tinny', and lacking in the low end range as someone else already mentioned.
The sound is definitely not for everyone! I'm looking to upgrade from mine in the next 6 months or so partially for that reason. I think at their price point there's little else I'd have considered, but I want something that feels more 'cinematic' and 'large' in a sense.
But I've had my Q150s for almost three years before getting to this point. They're great as an entry point to have something better than most other homes you go to, but not inherently the only option

The $25 off 250 at BestBuy Amex offer could be applied to this.

These speakers need some volume to come alive. The low end is definitely there. But if you play at low volumes they will sound tinny. At very high volumes they struggle. These are best used as desktop speakers.
BTW there's one speaker that sounds phenomenal at very low volumes -- it's a truly special one and most people would never guess it...

Thanks for that detailed reply. Decided to stick with the Adam's for now.

I have had the KEF Q150s for a while (they were the ones before the meta line) and got the pair on a similar deal ($600 marked down to $300).<br />
For the price they're very hard to beat, and if you want to do a Left, Center, and Right channel setup you can easily buy two of these pairs and sell off your spare speaker. You won't necessarily need the Q6 Meta or Q250c for a center.
I did this with Q100s. They have been great.
