Got this last time on sale. I prefer Cafe La Llave to Bustelo as Bustelo has this really burnt acrid flavor. La Llave to me tastes more evenly roasted and has more chocolatey notes. Anything around $3 per brick is a good price.

In for another flat pack. We use the moka pot almost exclusively during the colder months and the "burnt" flavor of Cafe Bustelo - which neither of us minds, in any case - seems less pronounced. Coffee is so damn expensive these days, I'd suggest trying this deal if you're not a coffee snob and like the flavor of darker roasted robusta; $0.25/oz is a pre-tariff price and about as good as it's going to get for a supermarket coffee that doesn't completely suck.

Wow, the price sure has gone up. Twelve 16oz bricks was $30 last December.

That said this is a good price at $0.30/oz compared to anything I have seen recently.
