I wish there were some teardown of these units. They are a great price especially after the 30% tax credit that expires in 80 days

I got two of these and two Eg4 wall mounts. Comparing EG4, build quality not even comparable. I think it's worth 3k for eg4 considering quality and the UL listing. I hate the BMS on this. However does it work? Yes, got the rated capacity? yes. For me I regret my purchase. I wish I went eg4 batteries. Just having the UL listing gives me the peice of mind

and when you say "wish I went eg4 batteries", you did get two Eg4 wall mounts, right? or did you mean inverters by "wall mounts"

These cheeky monkeys do the same sh*t every time. Drop the price, post the deal for $1,900, a few people get it, then bump the base price up and keep the % deal (now $2,099). Literally 10 hours later.

I'd love to buy one, but I'm partial to because of the bait-and-switch scheme they keep running.

I got eg4 wall mount batteries and I got two for 6k during a blackfriday deal. I spent 4k on eco-worthy for 2 of their batteries. I got 4 in total with 280ah each

Yes, that is what I understood you to say, so that makes sense. So when you said "wish I went eg4 batteries", you meant in addition to the two for 6k, you wish you hadn't spent the 4k on eco-worthy but just got 2 more of the eg4 batteries for $2k extra?

I have a eg4 wall mount battery and a eg4 18k - how do you communicate with your inverter when you mix and match like that ?
This price is really inciting

They got half the needed UL certification... The got 9540a but not 9540 which is the big one.

I also have two of these batteries and I'm trying to connect them in parallel. Does this setup require additional quick connectors between the two batteries? If so, could you share a link to where I can order them?

I've been searching for setup instructions, but haven't found anything—it's not even covered in the manual.

This is an incredible deal for a relatively known brand and 14.3 KWh capacity, so far. I think they will drop quite a bit by the end of the year. I would recommend the rack mount form factor though, Modular 95lb batteries are just easier to deal with IMO, vs 300lb batteries. The wheels are nice but make the unit top heavy, and you dont want something like this tipping over.

Not sure with the eg4 batteries but I just set mine to the lux protocol on the batteries and my eg4 12000xp and seems to be working great
