They are still making these I think I bought a orange one at Target in clearance back in 2018. It's solid sounding and floats.

Old models were micro USB. However, product images for this are showing USB-C so this is the updated version. I have the old version from years back. Fantastic speaker and still going strong!

All the UE speakers I bought had horrid vampire drain. Owned the original Boom, Boom 2 and Mega Boom.

The battery would be dead in a week if I didn't keep them constantly charging, with no use.

Vs. the original JBL Charge that'd be fine if I let it sit for months.

I had the same issue with the mega boom. I've had 3 wonder booms, and none have had the draining issue.

Just found mine in my van after about 3 months and turned it on and it was at about half life
