Shipping is $50 for me. If you're opting to ship the TV, then Best Buy or Walmart at $299 might be better options.

Looks good, but 60Hz On this Sammy vs a 120 Hz Hisense for a little more?

Hisense makes their own panels. Does anyone know if they're good?

Am I being a turrr'ta'dur here, or is it just me that's never heard of a 58" TV? 🤔

Well.... I wouldn't call you that... but 58" TVs aren't new, lol.

I had two Hisense TV's have different issues within 5 years of purchasing them.

Haha gotcha. I guess I haven't shopped a 5X" in ages. 65", 75", even an experiment of a 42" QLED as a PC monitor but...well thx for the friendly heads up. 😀

It's what the MBAs came up with once they realised we weren't falling for "60 inch class" any longer.

Ahhh!! Tweaking the lineup a bit, looks like setting some distinction as well. In the 55-64" segment at BB, they show like 160 55", only half-dozen 58"s and zero 60's. Interesting 🤔

It all has to do with the mother glass size. Different factories produce different size large sheets and then it's a game of how many TV panels can you get out of one large sheet. The newer generation stuff is typically made to cut multiple larger TV panels but the old fabrication factories still churn out cheaper panels in whatever smaller configurations that the market needs.
