Edit wrong reply

I have a 16 gb gaming laptop and never hit ram issues. I have an alert set for when it will. I run total war warhammer 3 a lot. I'm cpu bound there with the ultra 9.

Stay away from soldered ram unless it's 96GB starting unless you plan on having your laptop tell YOU when it wants to do what it wants to do.

I wonder if the high speed of gen 5.0 NVMe SSDs helps when system swaps to it. May it be that 16GB RAM is acceptable with such a fast SSD?

16GB of soldered ram is probably enough if you only game, but given it is soldered, I would opt for a 32GB model at the very minimum to make sure it is usable throughout its life time.

That's just crazy that they would solder only 16GB of RAM into this spec of a computer. Feels like absolute sabotage

I have a 16 GB non gaming Win 11 laptop. Never again. I don't know what happened over the years but plug this crap in to a dock with 2 to 3 high res displays, fire up Chrome with multiple tabs and your hitting 90% of ram already. And that's with integrated graphics.

I don't believe that any Zephyrus models (even the newest) have gen 5 nvme slots. Just gen 4
