Also for 3 more days I have 50 on 300+ on my Amex card. Amex also has an extra year of warranty still I believe as a perk.

Totally different laptops for most people. 16 vs 14" screen, soldered ram and worse performance because of the body size/cooling. Oled vs IPS though the IPS screen on this is fantastic.

Thanks, I bought the 14" laste week and though its beautiful, but I'd sacrifice the screen for better performance and battery.

Gotcha, I mean I BELIEVE this will have better battery life between being IPS and a Ryzen AI vs an Intel plus larger form factor usually has more battery but would need to check. Wish I had better advice on it, but that's my guess.

Oh wow I forgot they made it only take charge via USB C and didn't give it enough of a max charge rate to really feed the GPU so it's TDP limited to 60W. yeah nevermind, the performance difference between this 16" and the 14" you just bought is massive. Pretty sure that 5070 performs worse than a 4070, maybe a 4060 with that TDP.

Is this laptop mainly for people who game? How long battery if just web browsing? What about youtube? If someone doesn't game but does something that makes having a fast graphics card good, this would be a great laptop?

So the big thing about this about laptop is the i9 processor and nice screen and nits and it has the 32gb ram and 1tb ssd. But the main thing here is the 5070 right?

It only has 1 hdmi port for external monitor then since the usb-c port is used for laptop charging cable? So you need to buy a docking station if you want 2 or more monitors? So the laptop charger for this is going to be really big right since it's a gaming laptop? So this would never be a deal at retail price right? This seems to be the lowest cost for a laptop with these type of specs? Rarely do you get i9 and 32gb ram and 1tb ssd and factor in the screen and screen resolution and the nits and ultimately the 5070 right at this type of price?

Never understood why on a LAPTOP people don't post the weight. It's 5.4lbs if anyone cares about weight on a portable machine.
