Community Reviews
This steel macebell is best for rotational strength work, shoulder rehab, warmups, and other functional training where leverage matters. The long handle and rotationally symmetric swing make it feel different from a sledgehammer, and even lighter weights can still deliver a solid stimulus. It also gets used for auto body repair and DIY modifications like added spikes. The main drawback is that it can arrive scratched, and heavier jumps make progression awkward. A practical pick if you want a versatile macebell without paying much more.
Common Questions (4)
Start lighter than you think: 5 lb jumps can be a big step, and it can be hard to build up to swings if you begin too heavy. A 10 lb mace is described as a practical starting point for warm-ups and shoulder-focused work, while the 15 lb and 20 lb options are available in the deal.
It is used for shoulder rehab, warm-ups, balance, coordination, and rotational training, and it can also be repurposed for auto body repair. The long handle and rotationally symmetric design make it different from a sledgehammer and better suited to swinging movements.
It can show up scratched from Amazon or UPS, so cosmetic wear is a realistic expectation. A matte spray-paint touch-up is suggested if appearance matters.
Yes: one commenter says a DIY version made from steel pipe, fittings, and dumbbell weights cost about the same as this purchase price. That makes the listed price competitive if you want a ready-made macebell instead of building one.

Jokes aside, don't go too heavy on a mace bell. It is really hard to build up to swings if you cannot do them to begin with. 5 pounds is a huge jump from weight to weight.
IMO macebells are the gold standard for minimalist approach to true functional strength, balance, and coordination.
P.S. This will show up scratched by Amazon / UPS...deal with it or spend 5x more at a local B&M fitness supplier. Matte spray paint works wonders if you are worried about impressing people on the 'gram
