Most people don't actually need this over a 9800x3d or even a 7800 x3d but will just buy the bet thing money can buy

Has anyone upgraded to this from a 7950X3D and noticed a difference in productivity apps? Trying to decide if I want to hold off for a 10950X3D or jump on this.

Not everything on Slickdeals is a good deal for everyone.
Most people will not need a CPU like this, however, this is a good option for people who run CPU intensive tasks like 3D rendering, video editing, physics simulations, etc. before jumping to Threadripper or Epyc class hardware.

This was $599 during the fake prime day at MC a week or so ago, Best Buy will Price Match if you have a MS somewhat close to you, around 2 hours drive or so. The point is I would wait for Black Friday and I'm betting this will be $599 again, so I would wait unless you really really need it now.
It is a beast of a CPU and I'm loving it.
