I have a power station but its internal battery is a 48 V, so when I run 12 V things you lose some efficiency stepping it down to 12 V. I also have a 12 V battery and I'll just often run those device devices directly from the battery and I get much more run time per ah of battery.
Community Reviews
This 12V 280Ah LiFePO4 battery is being used as a compact power storage pack for RVs, campers, boats, trailers, and off grid solar setups. It stands out for deep usable capacity, lighter weight than lead acid, Bluetooth monitoring, and enough output for things like trolling motors, fridge backup, and even running an air conditioner for hours in larger banks. The main cautions are that it is not a car starter battery, charging and inverter setups need the right lithium compatible gear, and some buyers flagged seller trust and coupon issues. A strong fit for 12V storage projects that need real runtime.
The battery can run 12V devices directly without an inverter, which can improve efficiency versus stepping down from a higher-voltage power station.
The battery can support real off-grid and RV use cases, including running an air conditioner for about eight hours with two units in a trailer.
The battery can work well in a boat setup and has been used for marine power storage without reported issues.
The battery can integrate into solar and EcoFlow systems using XT60i inputs, including setups charged from solar through a charge controller.
The battery is not intended for vehicle cranking, and it lacks the amperage needed for starting applications.
Charging performance can be limited by connector choice and charger compatibility, since XT60 can cap input around 8A while XT60i can allow higher charging current.
Promo codes and checkout discounts can be unreliable, including cases where codes do nothing at checkout or stop working after expiration.
Bluetooth functionality can fail and may also affect state-of-charge reporting with an AC-to-DC controller, which can require returning the unit.

Im thinking of connecting it using alligator clips from 12v batt to xt60 to the back of the power station. not sure if this will work and advisable.
With the XT60i, it will let you charge up to 15 amps, which would be 192 watts input (15amps x 12.8v). If you get 2, you can do a 24v setup and do up to 384 watts (depending on which ecoflow unit you have). You will need to buy a charger for the battery though made for LiFePo4 batteries.
I have a 100ah 12v battery with an XT60i connection hooked up to my river 3 plus and it charges at about 175 watts from the battery. I will be getting a 2nd battery soon to do 24v (River 3 Plus maxes out at 220v solar input).
Tons of you tube videos doing this.

The 150's are on a food truck and we can generally run it all day on the refer units plus solar without having to run a generator, which is really nice. Charge them quickly with a plug in ac to DC 60 amp charger overnight.
I've bought 4 of the 280's for our bus conversion and had to return 1 because the Bluetooth wouldn't work and it wasn't registering a full state of charge with an ac to DC charger controller which made me real nervous. No issues with the return and repurchase. We run a diesel all winter and these are on a manual timer to fire up the glow plugs from 4:00 to 6:30 am so the bus is easy to start in -20ish weather. Works like a charm, mostly recharge off the solar but have to plug in occasionally.

Will it charge when I plug in the trailer to ac power?
Do I need to add anything?
