The Dreame L40 Ultra stands out as a feature packed robot vacuum and mop with auto empty, auto refill, and a liftable mop, and the deal price made it unusually cheap for a current model. The checkout code DML40ULTRASD was needed to reach the lower price, and some orders shipped quickly, with a few buyers even upgrading from older or refurbished units. The main drawback was fulfillment trouble, including overnight cancellations tied to a technical error and inconsistent Amazon support. A strong deal if the order goes through and the price holds.
buyers who are willing to apply the deal promo code at checkout (DML40ULTRASD) because commenters said the listed price didn't reflect the real deal price until the code was entered during checkout.
people upgrading from an older robot vacuum like the N8+ because it was described as an "easy no brainer" upgrade once the price dropped to about $265 using a $20 Amazon courtesy credit.
shoppers who want to switch from a refurb to a new unit because one commenter said the lightning deal saved them $80 versus a prior eBay refurb purchase, letting them go from refurb to new.
people who can spend time contacting Amazon support if their order is cancelled because at least one commenter got the intended price confirmed and received a $230.04 gift card credit after a technical-error cancellation.
buyers who need guaranteed fulfillment on the first try because multiple commenters reported their orders were cancelled overnight due to a "technical error," suggesting some buyers won't receive the item even after ordering.
people who don't want to deal with confusing customer service or price disputes because one commenter described the worst Amazon experience, with reps giving conflicting explanations about the order price and being told to wait for the price to drop.
