This Bosch bundle is a strong cordless miter saw deal when the promotion is live, pairing the 7 1 4 saw with batteries and a charger for about $179 to $200. The saw is praised as much lighter than a 10 inch cordless Bosch and easier to carry than a 12 inch DeWalt, which makes it appealing for cutting 2x4s and jobsite use. The main snag is availability, since the free tool often would not add to cart, showed as out of stock, or disappeared from the free item list. In store, the discount has scanned correctly and some locations have matched the lower battery price, making it a solid setup if you can still find stock.

Common Questions (5)

  • The online deal has been intermittently broken: the free saw may not add to cart, may disappear from the free-item list, or may show out of stock even when the battery kit still shows $179. The promotion was also reported as paused both online and in store, so availability depends on whether your local Lowe's still honors it.

  • When the promotion works, shoppers reported paying $179 for both items, while one in-store purchase came to about $200 depending on local pricing. Some stores initially showed the battery kit at $219 before matching $179.

  • Yes, some shoppers still see the saw listed as a free item in the choose-item flow, while others see it as out of stock or no longer listed. That means the promotion may still be visible in some carts or regions even after disappearing elsewhere.

  • Yes, the deal has been honored in-store when both items were available. The register applied the free-tool discount correctly, and shoppers were able to ask a store to honor the online promotion even when the app or website failed.

  • Yes, it is reported to be about 26 lb, which makes it easier to carry than a 12-inch cordless miter saw. It was also described as much lighter than a Bosch 10-inch cordless miter saw.

Wow, what a deal! Managed to get the miter saw and checked out using PayPal with no issues. Defaulted to a Lowe's a little farther than my usual but I did not want to mess it up so I just paid and it went through!

Got one, I have a 12" DeWalt but I most cut 2x4 and it's a pain lugging that thing around. 26lbs for this will be nice

I have a bunch of different battery platforms and Bosch has low key become by favorite battery tool brand over the last year. I kind of wish I didn't already buy just about every battery tool I needed in other colors. When/if my battery tools need upgrading I'll be looking towards Bosch first I think. All of their tools feel solid and it's really cool that they sell both lower tier more affordable tools and pro tier tools under the same battery, and if you want industrial level tools you can even use it with like Fein and a bunch of other specialty brands. I love the form factor of their batteries. It's cool that they bake the claimed torque specs into the model numbers so once you're familiar with it you can quickly differentiate between tiers. Bosch doesn't really doesn't get enough love in the states, glad Lowe's has been pushing it a bit this year.

The app and website is lying right now about the saw being out of stock. If you call your local Lowe's they will tell you if they have it in stock, and if not, they can tell you if other stores have it nearby.

If you are unable to buy the saw online, you can go to a store that has both items in stock and ask them if they will honor the online deal in store.
