This CyberPowerPC build stands out as a strong 7800X3D starting point for future upgrades, especially if you want to swap in a better graphics card later. The base parts and power supply are seen as solid for the price, and the 850W upgrade is only about $34 to $35 more. The main knock is the RTX 3060, which feels dated and weak next to the CPU, while the 600W supply raises upgrade concerns. It is a decent foundation if you plan to customize it, but the GPU choice keeps it from feeling fully balanced.
a buyer who wants a solid base PC now and plans to upgrade the graphics card later because the $849 7800X3D configuration is described as a good starting point for future upgrades.
someone who already has another PC that needs a low-end GPU and can move the RTX 3060 over because commenters say the deal is good if you can "throw the 3060 into" a different system.
a gamer who is willing to pay the small PSU upcharge for futureproofing because one commenter says swapping to the 850W is worth it (even though it's involved) and that it helps avoid a headache later.
a buyer who is comfortable with the stated power budget for a 7800X3D + 5080-style upgrade because one commenter calculated average gaming power (about 347W total) and argued it stays within a 600W PSU rating.
someone who is buying this mainly for the 7800X3D but expects the RTX 3060 to be a long-term match because multiple commenters call the 3060 a weak "filler"/two-generation-old GPU and say you should wait for a 7800X3D + 5070 bundle instead.
a buyer who doesn't want to deal with CyberPower's build-quality and support risk because one commenter reports missing extra fans, poor wiring, the PC dying at exactly 1 year, and "horrible" customer service (recommending checking the BBB).
a shopper who wants the best value for the money without settling for weaker components because commenters say paying $850 for a 7800X3D with 16GB/1TB plus an RTX 3060 is poor value, citing a low-end WD Green SSD and better deals in the same price range.
someone who plans to keep the 600W PSU as-is for a high-end GPU upgrade because one commenter warns that 600W can be risky due to transient spikes even if steady-state wattage looks adequate.
a buyer who is trying to upgrade from an 8GB RTX 3060 and expects the PSU to be "set and forget" because one commenter calls the 600W PSU a "throwaway" that will likely force additional expense later when upgrading.

Also that PSU is good enough for a 5080. Source: I have an 850W and ran 3x 3080s off of it for 3 years with no issues. <br />

I've built 50+ desktops and owned a PC repair shop - people way overestimate PSU needs.

Edit: My lord, just realized it's an 8gb 3060 at that.

I purchased from CyberPower. The build quality was not that great missing extra fans ordered and poor wiring. It eventually died at 1 year exactly. Customer service was horrible and offered no help.
I would not recommend CyberPower
Go ahead, hit me with TDs because you wasted your money on this dud already or because you can't take the s word.

All I see is over a grand but no 7800X3D that at that price is just better to ditch 5060 althogether...and over 1k is not the "same price range".
Honesty not too bad, but yea CyberPower has terrible reviews, IMO I would keep waiting until black friday.

It's OK folks. Whatever mental gymnastic you want to do to fork over your money for a PC with a two-generation-old graphics card is fine with me. For CyberPowerPC and Slickdeals the money is all green.
