I'm sure that SOME people have issues but with a monitor where north of 85% of the buyers are reporting a great experience I think your review is a little hyperbolic.

Turned out way bigger than I expected, will probably return it unless I find someone local in NY to sell it to.
My only personal complaint on it is the glossy screen coating. I would prefer matte personally. If you get anything on the screen, good luck cleaning it and it not leaving streaks. I think most people recommend only using distilled water and a microfiber cloth due to the coating.
For this price, I would recommend it, even with the "black screen" issue. YMMV.
As for those having issues with the screen blacking out, there are two things that helped me resolve that issue. One was to make sure you are using the correct video cables. Switching those out helped a lot. Second was to set Peak Brightness to Off. When I had it turned on to Low or High, whenever I opened a browser window the screen would flicker, and my assumption is that it was trying to compensate for the change in brightness on part of the screen and freaking out. Turning it off made the issue go away.

I've had it since launch though, so over 2 years now, and it has no burn-in. Just keep in mind that you should do the usual stuff for OLED (the panel protection features are on by default, but turn on dark mode for your browser and OS, and set a short screen off timer)

wait until DP2.1(a/b) DP54(UHBR13.5) and DP80(UHBR20) OLEDs are more common.
HDMI2.1 + DSC doesn't 'suck' but it can be noticed; being forced to DP1.4+DSC, say goodbye to 240hz...
Please don't buy this monitor.
