This is probably specifically on clearance because they don't want to hang onto it anymore. Especially in Hawaii, it doesn't make sense to ship it to some other liquidation company, so it's a unique set of circumstances (and hey, nice break for Hawaiians, usually everything costs more on the island! Then again... there's more Hawaiians who've moved away than are still there, because wealthy people have moved in and driven up the cost of living more).

It was a display model. Is it even worth it? Don't they run these things all day for over a year? Does their warranty even cover dead pixel or burn in.
