Unless you plan to play immediately, give it some time. Borderlands games seem to tank fairly fast like ubisoft games do... I'd expect 30 by christmas

For reference, an X post from Randy Pitchford on Borderlands 3 being on sale up to 95% off on Steam and eventually Borderlands 4:

"Sales like this and Borderlands 3 showing up on console subscription programs took over 5 years from the game's launch to happen. Take advantage when it's here! And to set expectations, it will be even longer before this kind of thing happens in the next cycle with Borderlands 4."

it's fun, I have grandkids now so I better grow up.. I've posted about a dozen gold keys in other forums but they are time sensitive.. usually last for 48hrs. I'm not sure it's worth full price.. I might splurge on Outer Worlds 2 next week..

He doesn't control the individual store sales, but he does control the price at which they purchase wholesale from his company. Just FYI, the game is already a massive success as far as sales go. It has sold over 3 million copies and counting. Selling 2.5 million in its first week. It shattered multiple sales records. So Randy is probably out shopping for a new Yacht, lol
