yes, it definitely does as most places are very close to $600.

I've been using this receiver for over a year and I highly recommend it. Works great with eARC and the sound is natural compared to a similarly priced Onkyo receiver.

Not sure if there's a trend going on but got a used-mint S970H for $372 recently off Amazon.

That's what I'm talking about! I got a Yamaha RX-A770 new for $360 from Amazon in Q4 2018. Sounds like this is the next best option after time travel.

Never again. Unrepairable garbage. I bought a Denon 760, took maybe a year to finally open the box and use it. Within about six months, it would go into some sort of protection fault. I contacted Denon, they requested I unplug everything from it and one by one plug everything back in, (speakers, components). No particular thing would set it off, might take weeks or months, especially that I barely used it, literally fewer than ten times. Eventually, I decided to just turn it on and leave it on for a bit with nothing connected, and finally it went into protection mode, and wouldn't come out of it. I contacted Denon, it was out of warranty. I informed that I contacted them regarding the issue before the warranty was expired. Didn't matter. Took it to local stereo repair shop, owner informed me that he couldn't do anything with it, unrepairable. Basically a throw away receiver that if there is a problem under warranty, Denon just slaps another cheap board in and sends it out.

I got the Avr-970H for $350 from Adoroma couple years but I didn't keep it I sold it on FB after using it for about a year the main thing I did not like was the annoying loud pop noise it makes when switching inputs, everyone said it was normal for Demons but I sold it and got a Sony and like it lot better but mainly because I had a Sony previously so I was use to all the settings and could make adjustments so much easier. But honestly neither one sounded better or worse than the other.

Buyer beware. The photos of the unit are for the AVR-S760H, not the 670. The connections on the back are different.

I have a 25-year-old Denon avr that still plays very well (even in comparison to my higher end amplifiers). This looks like a great deal!
