You don't want 1-inch plates and barbells at any price point. Buy an Olympic barbell and weights, which will have 2-inch holes.

Be careful. Last time I tried to buy these they sent me the 1" holes so I returned them and requested a replacement. They ended up sending the same damn thing.

He's right though, I just went through this. They make 2inch dumbbells that take the 2inch version of these. Only have to have half the clutter, spend half the money on weights. Seems like slick advice.

Thanks OP. I just bought a squat rack to start doing some strength training to supplement the cycling and this was cheaper than the used Sellers on Marketplace. Also saved the hassle of having to deal with people on Marketplace.
