This Dell tower looks like a solid everyday desktop for office work, light creative tasks, and home server use, with the Core Ultra 5 drawing praise for strong CPU performance and efficient operation. The main appeal is the price versus similar Dell and Best Buy listings, especially since the Best Buy version appears to differ mainly by a 1TB SSD. The weak integrated graphics, 512GB storage, front only audio jack, and 180W proprietary power supply limit upgrades and bigger video cards. A practical pick if you want a compact workhorse and do not plan major expansion.
The deal can be improved by buying the same base configuration directly from Dell and stacking AMEX cash back, email signup savings, and Dell rewards.
The CPU performance is strong for the class, with PassMark scoring around 32,265 while integrated graphics top out near 2,000 points.
The tower can work for media server use cases like Plex and Immich.
The 512GB configuration can be made more practical by swapping the 512GB SSD to the C drive and using the existing 500GB as a D drive.
The included 180W power supply can restrict future upgrades, since adding more hardware may require a PSU upgrade.
Integrated graphics performance is weak, with PassMark-style results around 2,000 points making graphics a limiting factor.
The front-only 1/8-inch audio port placement can leave speakers or headphones dangling, which may be an aesthetic issue.
The deal timing and availability can be unreliable because the Costco deal reportedly expired about a week ago.

But the cpu scored on pass mark 32,265. Amazing performance score for what it is.

The Best Buy one has a 1 TB SSD, but that's the only difference as far as I can tell.
