I just hope this deal comes to other online stores.
(Ok, it's very close, probably not as performant since it's still a laptop chip)

From what I have seen, read and "felt" in store these are basically a step down across the board from equivalent Lenovos and ASUS ROGs, but many many tiers above MSI and ACER on build quality. Like the Oman Max doesn't really have any body or lid flex even when picking up by a single corner (which you shouldn't do, but it's a good test and also I do it randomly so whatever). I would say the main place you can "feel" the difference between this and a Legion is the keyboard has some flex under pressure/isn't as nice to type on vs a Legion. My understanding though is that the cooling on these is top notch, The ram can be upgraded and there is an open SSD slot.
Other than that, this looks like a great deal on a great laptop. Personally if I was in the market today for a new gaming laptop I would take a Omen Max over a Legion Pro 5/7/9 because the current gen Legions removed the rear power/HDMI ports which is a deal breaker for me personally.
Edit: Removed incorrect information on how the heatsink is installed. It doesn't block the SECOND SSD port or the ram slots, it blocks the first though, probably not a big deal with an open slot and 1 TB in the primary.

Nice reviews, thanks for mentioning those things and correcting me on it, I knew I had heard something super weird with the heatsink needing to be removed, now I like this laptop even more lol.

Hmm that's solidly outside my wheelhouse sorry. Do you want a gaming laptop specifically? I would ask Dr.W though, he knows more about laptops generally than I do, I am mostly focused on gaming laptops this generation. Sorry.
I will say the ROG Flow Z13 is a craaaaazy machine from the reviews if your budget can swing it. Strix Halo is such impressive tech.
