Not a bad idea if you want a quick way to heat up cast iron for a grilled cheese...would hold up on a camp stove or direct fire. Probably not for me but it has it's application! A bigger pan means a bigger area to clean and more water usage. A heavier to lift pan would make it more likely to fall or drop or hurt your shoulder/elbow. Bigger pan means a bigger pain to store....I'm kinda talking myself into it! I love my Lodge cast iron and Lodge carbon steel pans!

This could be good for small tamagoyaki. I know tamagoyaki is made in a rectangular pan, but this could be close enough.

I'm old, thought this was a dustpan from the preview pic.

I've got a bunch of these, I usually find them at garage sales, often with a soy candle in them or packaged with a brownie or cookie mix. They are handy for camping and making a small meal for 1 without carrying a big heavy frypan. I have one dedicated for fish and seafood so it doesn't taint other food. Also good for cornbread.

These are great for individual servings. I make a toad in the hole with it. Super easy to clean, and since my kids and wife never use it, it never loses its season.

Take solace that a square is a form of rectangle!

No, it's not. Aside from limited use cases this is too small to be worthwhile and will just become indestructible kitchen clutter
