This tiny Lodge skillet is best for single servings and quick, high-heat cooking, especially grilled cheese, eggs, cornbread, tortillas, and small pizzas or baked treats. The cast iron holds heat well, works on camp stoves, induction, ovens, grills, and campfires, and can be easy to clean once seasoned and preheated. Its main drawback is size, since it is very small and awkward for cooking for more than one person or for larger bread. It is a niche pan, but a handy one for compact cooking.
Home cooks making individual eggs or grilled cheese, because the small pan heats fast and can cook sticky foods well when preheated and seasoned.
Camp cooks making single servings, because the small cast iron heats quickly on a camp stove or direct fire and is easy to pack.
Parents or hosts serving tiny portions, because it works for individual servings and stays hot long enough to eat at the table.
Bakers making mini pizzas, cornbread, or small oven bakes, because the size suits single-portion baking and fits small ovens.
Shoppers expecting effortless nonstick performance, because cast iron still needs proper seasoning, preheating, and heat control to avoid sticking.
Families cooking full meals, because the pan is very small and will not suffice by itself for more than one person.
Cooks wanting a roomy skillet for bread or larger portions, because the small cooking surface does not fit larger bread and feels too limited for typical use.

I have similar small(er) circular Lodge cast-iron that came with a creme-brûlée kit, useful for random pastry/turnover/pocket type of oven baking.

Also great for perfect english muffin sized eggs (they overflow the bread but thats perfect), grilled cheese, or just reheating a single serving of leftovers that don't microwave well like fried foods.
The problem is you need one for each person you're serving (and a potholder to set it on) because it's basically cookware and tableware in one. But it's nice that it stays hot for a very long time while you're eating.
Overall the best thing we make in them is individual pizzas for the kids (and adults), but the most common thing is eggs with spinach and onions and mushrooms, or cookies. If I didn't already have like a dozen round 6" pans I'd definitely get some
