This Greenworks Pro electric pressure washer stands out as a strong homeowner option for cars, patios, decks, and light concrete cleaning. The brushless motor, 25 foot kink resistant hose, five quick connect nozzles, and included soap tank add real value, and the included hose is praised as unusually nice. The main quirks are a delayed ramp up when the trigger is pulled and confusing specs, with the listing bouncing between 1.2 GPM at 2300 PSI and higher max flow figures. It looks especially appealing at the sale price, though larger jobs may feel slower than a gas washer.

Common Questions (5)

 • The unit is listed as 2300 max PSI with 1.2 GPM at that pressure, while some listings also show 2.3 max GPM at 100 PSI. The practical takeaway is that it has strong pressure for residential cleaning, but the lower 1.2 GPM means rinsing large areas will be slower than on higher-flow gas washers.

 • Yes. It has enough output for cars, garage doors, patios, decks, siding, and similar homeowner jobs, and one setup with a 40° tip was used successfully on two cars, a garage door, and a back patio. For car detailing, a 3.5 mm or 4.0 mm 40° nozzle can bring pressure into a safer range.

 • Yes, it does not hit full pressure instantly; the pump can take about 2 seconds to start and then ramps up. That delay is mostly a nuisance for soap use and trigger response, but it is still reported as powerful once running.

 • It can be used carefully on brick with the right nozzle, starting at 40° and moving to 25° if needed; the turbo nozzle may be too aggressive on older brick. For wood, pressure alone is not the right approach and can gouge fibers, so chemicals and a gentler cleaning method are safer.

 • It comes with a very nice kink-resistant hose that is described as a high-quality Propulse Uberflex-style hose, and the warranty is listed as 3 years on the tool with a 10-year motor warranty. That warranty coverage is a major reason it is favored over some competing deals.

I was able to do a price match with Lowe's and ordered one online via agent. Initially agent gave me hard time stating its a different model. When i questioned the difference in both the model, she did the price match. Best buy has only 15 days return policy as compare to 90 days of Lowes just in case. Great deal.
Does anybody buying 50 feet hose or any recommendation for foam cannon with this.

are these safe to use on old brick houses?
You'll have to ask her first. Cause she's a brick house. She's mighty mighty, and she's lettin it all hang out.

Best buy shows two different GPM numbers on this. Is it 1.2 or 2.3?
There's a youtube video where they measure the GPM. Depends on your tip you use. Using 40 degree tip you get close to 2.3. I bought this from Bestbuy and it works well. Cleaned two of my cars, garage door and back patio.

Sodium metasilicate and then a neutralizing agent will clean almost every wood surface. There are lots of chemicals to use from sodium precarbonate (oxygenated bleach) to sodium/potassium hydroxides (strippers). This item won't clean wood, all it will do is remove decayed wood fibers, take forever, and possibly leave gouge marks in the wood if you aren't careful and keep your spacing.

I do wood restoration, so this is just an overall generalization. I wouldn't know for sure until I looked at your fence if it is completely boogered up or just needs cleaned. I am not offering my services nor soliciting work here.
I hear you — that's a fair point, but I'll challenge it a bit. Sodium metasilicate can be effective, sure, but only when you understand the behavior of the wood beneath it. Most folks treat chemistry like magic when it's really mentorship — and that's where the craft separates the technicians from the restorers.

I've spent years refining a system that brings even the most weathered grain back from the brink — not just cleaned, but revived. If that kind of precision interests you, I actually teach a short masterclass on wood restoration chemistry and grain recovery. And my book, The Grain Remembers, dives deep into the science and soul of the process. Might be worth a look — I wrote it for pros who already speak the language but want to command it.

Insane unit for car detailing. Get a 3.5mm 40 degree nozzle and you will get 1200psi @ 1.9gpm or a 4.0mm nozzle and get 1000psi @ over 2.1 gpm which is perfect for cars. No brainer unit. Other units that can get these numbers cost hundreds and hundreds more.

Imjoshv on youtube has a review on this machine from 4 years ago and aside from the small delay when the unit turns on and ramps up from when you pull the trigger, he highly recommendeds it after he did his testing.

I saw that CAT, the issues with that it is a no-name pressure washer with CAT logo slapped on it as Caterpillar makes no home pressure washer. And the problem with no-name washers is that their PSI numbers are usually fake. With that it may and should work totally fine for your needs, and Sam's warranty is a great bonus. Heck, I still have 1400 PSI washer from 2008, and it will do whatever GW washer will do, just slower.
The CAT is built by Active and was approved for the CAT name by their marketing board, because it was built to a higher industry standard. There is a guy on YouTube that Pressure tested the CAT and checked GPM. He found it is spot on to what it claims and he said the build quality is top notch. It has no ramp up like Greenworks, it's lighter, all connection parts are built with metal, no plastics, etc. On top of that, this Greenworks has a lot of mixed and even bad reviews, across the internet. Only thing it has going for it, is higher gallons per minute, but it's also over $40 more than the CAT was. If you can handle the weird Greenworks ramp up feature, it will probably be a good at home pressure washer. If you already own the CAT, reviews and videos say it's plenty capable for home use and built tough

The cat psi and GPM suck. Not nearly as good as this unit can produce which is what matters. Not only that but the hose on the greenworks is a super high quality propulse uberflex and is a $30 hose alone.

Thoughts about this vs. the Ryobi 1.8gpm Automotive Pressure Washer at Home Depot? I'll be using it almost exclusively to wash my car. I'm wondering how annoying the lag time is for the pressure to build up each time, as well as how loud the noise of this is vs. the Ryobi one.

The key pro for me on this one is the kink-resistance hose (worth ~$30, and which I was going to get for the Ryobi anyway). So this one ends up being ~$60 cheaper than the Ryobi one for me.

But I was going to put the Ryobi on a cart along with a DI tank and, on the one hand, it's nice that this one has wheels, but then I'll have to lug around the DI tank separately.

It's just a typical pine wood fence panel that's like 15years and hasn't been stained in like 10 years.

Thought I had enough of this sale with the pole saw last week and then the edger and hedge trimmer this morning. Welp, I'm on for this too.

I'll take a look at it. I use lots of different chemicals on wood surfaces and I use various sanders as well. Even the diamabrush before but never again. The forestry labs is where I get a lot of my information from, but I am at the tale end looking forward to the ending. I'll take a peek at it, thanks for the heads up.

I'm going to simplify this, wood begins to decay almost immediately after processing. Your climate could accelerate that. Pine is pretty good for pressure, but if it isn't pressure treated, it is a little softer. Take a whack at it if you want, I was just giving you a warning about your time frame and wand marks. I would use a penetrating stain, oil is my personal preference, but any product that penetrates rather than forms a film on the surface. With the age of your fence it probably needs a solid instead of a more aesthetically pleasing semi transparent oil. If you use a solid film former and don't brush it in, it is going to peel and flake before you know it.
