You might want to have some facts in your pocket before you sling accusations like that around. 90% is a BIG stretch.

MAKE SURE YOU VERIFY YOUR SERIAL NUMBER AT SANDISK.COM.

Amazon / B&H Photo & Newegg sell 90% fake/counterfeit Samsung & SanDisk flash stage as it's a quick / easy scam. I've never received a "real" SanDisk card from Amazon.

This happens on Amazon and NewEgg because they allow third-party sellers. B&H is a traditional retailer, so counterfeits are far less likely.

I bought this a while ago and used it for maybe 3 days. It is really slow. I accepted the initial slow transfer, but it was really slow during normal operation too.
I switched to a U3 512 GB.

Same. Game loading speeds are terrible on this card... I copied the game I frequently play directly to switch memory and it loads so much faster

All these cards are over priced IMO. This should be $75 full retail at this point.

That said, it won't happen anytime soon. I'm waiting for a deal on the Sandsik 2TB, or bust...

Verify serial number? MicroSD cards don't have serial numbers, only model numbers and date codes according to Sandisk, neither of which are unique. What are you talking about specifically?

...it's 1.5 TB in something the size of your pinky nail. $95 seems like a pretty reasonable price all things considered.

Yes, I understand what they are and have been using them since they were released. I have multiple 1TB, 512GB,256, etc.... My point is that - IMO - they're all over priced. They're also a dead end technology at this point, so they'll probably milk them as long as they can..

My newest laptop has a slot for the micro card (not full sized or the express) but it only supports up to a 2TB SSD, and I'd like 4tb of storage on it. The only way to do that is to add a 2TB card and use it primarily as a "read only" and/or a dumping ground for short term saves before I do a full back up...
