This Firebat A5P mini PC stands out as a strong value for a Ryzen 7 8745HS and Radeon 780M system with 16GB of DDR5 and a 512GB SSD. The official Firebat store has been described as fast shipping through Amazon delivery, and the included drivers were reported to work well. Setup may be cleaner with a fresh Windows install from Microsoft, since Windows licensing was not clearly stated. The main caution is the AliExpress buying experience, where coupon availability and checkout promos changed quickly, and one purchase path raised serious shipping and dispute concerns. A compelling compact gaming and everyday PC if the listing details check out.

I will be very very very careful about buying mini PC or big ticket items from Aliexpress. Especially, 1. the discount is so big and unbelievable. 2. The seller is some type of "trader". Here is a comment from one of the "buyer".
Appears to be either money laundering or some type of scam using stolen credit card data. The item came shipped from amazon under a different person's name. The seller did not provide tracking number in timely fashion, and i did not know when to expect the package. They only let me know about the tracking number and the other person's name a few hours before the package arrived. When building concierge told me about amazon package for someone else's name, i let them know that they can reject the package. The package was returned to amazon, but the seller claimed that it was never returned and successfully delivered. Aliexpress did not provide assistance, and amazon cannot help me since i did not make the order.

Only thing I wish it had was usb 4 or occulus port but it's a solid deal from official firebat seller and dropships from Amazon so you'll get it fast. And yes you should reformat the 512gb drive and install windows from a separate thumb drive. You should also download windows from official Microsoft channels.

That's not abnormal. They are using Amazon deliver network to deliver stuff. Stuff I bought on ebay has been delivered this way.

I bought a mini pc from this seller (official firebat store) and it came quickly and without issues. Doesn't seem any of the AliExpress discount codes can be applied to this

They do this to exploit free shipping logistics from Amazon. You could say they are passing along some savings... maybe 🤷 ♂️

Firebat is pretty fast, bought both the A8 8745hs and the AM02 6600H. Purchased from AliExpress and shipped by Amazon. The A8 contains all crucial ddr5 and Nvme. The AM02 contains unknown brand ddr5 and Nvme. Both are clean, no malware and the website drivers are good too. I got a Minisforum and it contains malware even the website downloads.

Damn no oculink, which isn't surprising at this price point, but not even usb4, which kills any egpu possibility. Would have bought one if it had usb4

Oculink is very easy to add, for my Firebat Am02 with 6600h, I got the m2 Nvme oculink connector, you can hook out externally. It is just pcie wire out if you have extra m2 Nvme pcie 4.0 slot.

But now the discount codes can be applied. Use USDEAL064 to bring it down to $267
