Coupon codes don't seem to be accepted when first pasting it in. Delete the last character and then retype it and it should accept it.

It's a bug with Aliexpress and has always been like that. Typing a space at the end after pasting, then deleting the space will fix it, as well.

Coupon code seems to work with other Jayo filaments, as well. I just tried it on the 5-pack of PLA+ (I hate Silk PLA with a passion) and it worked. Jayo is the same as Sunlu, BTW. Jayo is Sunlu's budget sub-brand to reach more of the market. It's the exact same filament on non-reusable spools.

Why is silk PLA bad? I'm brand new to 3d printing.

Did you try to add the coupon code at checkout?

Are you logged in? Also, try both links in the OP... One has free shipping and one does not, but pricing is about the same after the $10 coupon. Total should be $47-$48 after coupon.

It's just very brittle and has very poor layer adhesion. It's fine for decorative pieces, but the worst possible filament for anything functional. For anything functional, PLA+, PETG, or ABS/ASA is the way to go. I'm also just not a fan of the sheen of it, but I think I'm in the minority on that opinion.
