The BE805 is a slightly different version than the BE800.

BE805 has 4x 1Gbps LAN ports, 1x 10Gbps LAN, 1x 10Gbps ports WAN/LAN, no SFP+ port, 2x USB 3.0 ports

This one doesn't have great range. I would keep that in mind.

Also, the hacks being referred to above were regarding older routers that were no longer supported via firmware update and hackers were taking advantage of that.
