This bundle is mainly attractive for stacking Apple TV and Peacock at a lower combined cost, especially if you only want each service for a month or two at a time. Peacock is repeatedly framed as best for cheap, short-term access, with annual promos around $19 to $25 and occasional free access through Walmart plus or cancellation offers. Apple TV gets credit for strong shows like Ted Lasso, Silo, and Foundation, but its price and limited library make year round payment feel hard to justify. Peacock ads are the main drawback, though movie ads are often front loaded.

Common Questions (5)

  • The bundle is most attractive if you want both services for a short stretch, since Peacock is often seen as a cheap annual add-on and Apple TV+ is usually better for a month or two of binge-watching. A year-round subscription is harder to justify when both services have limited must-watch content for some shoppers.

  • Peacock is often discounted around Thanksgiving/Black Friday, with reported annual prices around $19-$25 and even a $50/year cancellation offer. That makes waiting for a yearly promo cheaper than paying the regular monthly rate.

  • Peacock Premium in this setup is ad-supported, and the bundle does not include ad-free Peacock by default. An upgrade path exists through Walmart+ streaming settings, where "upgrade your entertainment" can add ad-free access for an additional fee.

  • Peacock can be included with Walmart+, and Apple TV+ can be included with some T-Mobile plans or an Apple bundle. Those options can make the standalone bundle unnecessary if you already have one of those subscriptions.

  • Walmart+ can let you switch between Peacock and Paramount+ every 90 days. Both are ad-supported versions by default, but either can reportedly be upgraded for a fee.

Cancelled both. Peacock doesn't put out enough content and makes you wait weekly for it. Apple puts out weird stuff and raised the price. Twisted Matal and Foundation were really the only shows I can remember from them.
If The Foundation was the only thing you watched on Apple TV+ then you are missing out on some really good stuff. Specifically Ted Lasso and Silo but there are many other good Apple TV+ shows to watch.

Just got Amex Platinum and signed up for Peacock No Ads yesterday. Signed up for this instead today. Hopefully it doesn't mess up my credits.

I hate how Apple TV forces each user to sign up for an Apple account with a valid individual email adress for each user.

The thing I like about Peacock with ads is with a lot of the movies, they only show ads at the beginning and then none during the movie.

Peacock ads have steadily gotten worse, and recent movies have had at least one add roll mid movie, not just on the front end.

Ad supported content should be free. This is not a good deal. Apple TV does not have enough content to justify its price. Frankly, I thought people here are more tech savvy. I guess not.

If you have walmart+ you can get peacock for free
And you can also get paramount now. Switch between the two every 90 days if you want to.

Wait for the Peacock $19-per-year deal and use Amex to get it for free. Apple TV also offers free content from time to time. With Amex, I also get Walmart+ and the monthly $25 credit, and when I play it right,

I spent $0 for all of the following:
Hulu, Disney+, Max, Paramount, and Peacock.

Sadly, the only one I actually paid out of my pocket is Netflix.

the bottom it will say "upgrade your entertainment" which lets you upgrade to ad free for an additional fee. Paramount+ is showing $64.99/year.

Well, AppleTV costs $99/yr and Peacock will likely be $20/yr in a couple of days. $119 < $240, but that's if you want to pre-pay for the entire year, obvs.

The best streaming deal right now is $99 for a year of Apple TV, which next year will include the MLS as part of the standard package, no season or league pass.
