GIGABYTE's warranty policy was also changed to new products only with a valid receipt from an authorized reseller. No more 3 year warranty based on just serial number so open box has no warranty. https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Suppo...r/Warranty

Are there are concerns with Gigabyte QC or do GPUs tend to fail and require warranty? I know this is such a general question but I truly know nothing. Looking to upgrade from GTX 1660Ti but was primarily looking at used cards (rtx 3060ti, rx 6700 xt/7600 xt).
Don't play a lot of PC games but do enjoy self-punishment on EFT from time to time.

It's not clear. I'd grab the rx9060xt 16gb at this price rather than playing the waiting game for an unknown timing/price/performance B770.
Regardless you should still wait cause those Black Friday and Christmas deals are coming. Unless you need something now go for it but you'd be pretty dumb to buy something before the true sales kick off. Icing on the cake would be if the b770 comes out and is cheaper, available and smokes the competition in its price bracket.
These are still in stock (and have been for a few days)
Is it weird that this is still available? Wonder where Best Buy is pulling these from. Maybe not a lot of people want the Gigabyte version of these cards?

Mine came in with the gigabyte seal still on the anti static bag the card was in and the box had unbroken seals. Seemed brand new.

The one I received had been opened, but seemed in good shape. The box looked like someone had tossed it down a couple flights of stairs, but the card seemed fine.
TBH I was expecting more of an upgrade from my RX 570, it's an improvement but not as much as I had been hoping. Maybe my old card was just an overachiever.
