As a wire stripper, these are ok. As a crimping tool, it's horrible. The handle tolerances are too loose, when you bear down on the handles to crimp/dimple the wire connector, the handles split sideways. You have to really focus on keeping the two handles aligned, in order to get a good crimp.
I ended up returning mine and going with a set of ratcheting crimpers. They were twice the price, but well worth it to avoid this headache.

I've had the same experience. Worked fine for a month.

So many "regional/midatlantic" deals-- what's going on over there vs the rest of the U.S.?

My account is from this region and I do not have access to other regions to check other deals. Often same items are available in other regions with same or different discount so worth checking for some.

Ah, understood, thanks. I'm in central U.S. and none of these recent deals were on sale for me.
