This is a gray market Windows 11 Pro activation key that can work for quick Home to Pro upgrades, remote desktop, and virtual machines. The strongest reports say the key appears immediately after purchase, the seller sometimes sends a replacement or workaround if the first activation fails, and the instructions can get a Home install upgraded successfully. The main cautions are that the keys may be OEM or region specific, may stop working after hardware changes or later deactivation, and some orders have shown duplicate or already used codes. A cheap but uncertain shortcut if you need Pro now.

 • people upgrading from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro because commenters said the seller's instructions worked and they were able to change the activation key in Settings after running updates/troubleshoot.

 • buyers who plan to activate immediately after purchase because commenters warned these gray-market keys may stop working if you hold them for later.

 • people using Windows 11 in a VM on Linux (KVM) for apps like Quicken Classic and TurboTax because one commenter said the $7 key worked fine in that setup.

 • Mac users running Windows via Parallels who just need a cheap Pro activation because a commenter said they bought one for their Mac/Parallels setup for $7 and it was worth it.

 • people who expect to move the same Pro license across hardware changes (like motherboard swaps) because commenters reported keys can stop activating after reconfigurations and Microsoft may only provide a one-time replacement key.

 • buyers who need a clearly documented retail/transferable license because commenters said they couldn't find proof it's a retail version and there was no indication it can be moved to a new build.

 • people who want to buy multiple keys with confidence they're unique because commenters said they received duplicate/identical keys (or one key already marked activated), which made the purchase feel "shady."

 • buyers who are worried about legitimacy/chargeback risk because commenters described the keys as gray-market and noted that keys can be region-specific or later shut down even if they initially work.

 • people who want to replace an OEM Home key with Pro and keep a rollback path because commenters raised concerns that if Microsoft disables the Pro version you may not be able to go back to the old OEM key without reinstalling.

Use rufus to create a boot drive for win 11, disable pc requirement, disable need for ms account, disable telemmetry. Not that difficult and strips out the garbage to begin with
Rufus does not remove all the crapware including windows defender, Edge, etc... Use Autorun to view other stuffs running in the background. It takes several hours for a pro to root out all the garbage in W11 Home and Pro. Microsoft removes some junks in W11 LTSC.

"If you already have Windows 11 Home pre-installed on your PC and you want to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro, you should complete 2 simple steps: 1. Install all available updates: • Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot. Next, under Get up and running, select Windows Update > Run the troubleshooter • When the troubleshooter is finished running, restart your device • Next check for new updates. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security >Windows Update > Check for updates, and then install any available updates • Restart your device 2. Change Product (Activation) Key in Settings • Select Start Menu > Settings> Updates and Security > Activation > Change product key"

Ymmv. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Does this expire? Meaning if I buy it now and not choose to install until next year or so, does it have a timeline for activation? All of my laptops except one are already Pro version and only one is a Home version.

Sounds legit.
I always wonder about these sites. You hear it's sort of a grey market, but then why doesn't Microsoft shut it down? Should be easyish to make keys region specific.

But then you hear sometimes the registered os gets shut down after a few months, even though they let you use the key.

Idk. Weird market is weird.
it used to be that you could use the same single use retail key with different language sku of windows, so if you had a usa version and activated it, you could use the same key again as long as it was a different language sku.

I don't know if this is still true since there is one code base now and the language pack is just added when installing.

Is it true you need Pro in order to encrypt your drive w/ Windows??
you can encrypt your drive with the home version of 11. I was going to buy a pro version of 11 but found out as long as you create a MS account, you can encrypt the drive.

These are all not legit under EULA. I also used to be able to spit out as many activating Win/office keys as I wanted with MSDN. Doesn't mean it's legal to sell and use.

"I'm so sick of my utility company being able to see how much water and electricity I use, I'm going to move into a shack in the woods"
That's not really the right analogy. An operating system is not inherently a utility or service, provided or used continuously as a stream. It is better modeled as a product. This is more like your refrigerator company switching from selling you refrigerators to selling you refrigeration, where they now own the fridge itself and are directly involved with, and know about, your every opening of its door, changing of a setting, or powering up the compressor to pump heat out of the new batch of groceries you just loaded it up with. They can see what's inside, and which person uses what and when. There is no reason whatsover that Microsoft should have any part to play in my daily logging into or usage of my own Windows installation. They just spotted an opportunity that we've gotten used to Google and Apple doing that with mobile devices and realized they could pull the same nonsense to invade our laptops and desktops.

These gray market keys do indeed work. However, don't buy one and hold it for later use. Only buy if you plan on activating today/tomorrow.
This is accurate. I had picked up a cheap pro key back in the summer (before I learned about massgrave) and went to use it on a new install the other day and it was already used. So only buy if you plan on using quickly. Or don't and go the massgrave route

This is so shady -

I purchased 2 licenses and they gave me the same license twice. When I reached out to them, they said you can use the same license twice. Why would I pay twice for the same license? I then wanted a refund but they started to give me the run around.

So shady.
thannk for saving me 7$. im about to jump

None of these thigns are legit, but work. Be careful with this one. I just bought three and they sent three codes, but noticed that the second and third codes they sent were the same. I inquired and waiting to see what they say. I did confirm that the first one worked just fine to upgrade home to pro.

With all the advertising and telemetry baked into Windows 11 this should be free
It essentially is free. I used an unactivated version of Windows 10 for years. The only penalty was the watermark and some customizations are frozen after you go online for the first time.
