The 83 inch LG B5 OLED stands out as a big-screen home theater TV with free shipping and installation, and the LG Partner Store price can drop to about $1,520 with AMEX Offers. The size is the main draw, especially for viewing distances around 9 to 14 feet, where 83 inches feels like the safer OLED choice than 77 inches. Brightness is the main concern, since the B5 may feel dim in a room with lots of natural light, and the Partner Store checkout and install details can be finicky. A strong fit if you want the larger OLED format and can live with the store hassle.
The 83-inch size can be a practical OLED target at 12-14 feet viewing distance without feeling much smaller than 77-inch.
The LG Partner Store access can reportedly be enabled by creating an account using a Firefox Relay generated email.
AMEX Offers reportedly provide 6% back on LG Partner Store purchases, lowering the effective price to about $1,520.
Extra brightness on the C5 line can make OLED viewing feel strong enough even when sitting 9-10 feet away.
The OLED brightness can be a concern for rooms with a lot of natural light, which may affect satisfaction after delivery.
The free handy install option reportedly failed to appear on the final receipt, and customer service could not add it back.
The deal reportedly became unavailable when the price rose to $1,999 and the promo code stopped working.
Shipping and returns to LG reportedly feel like a hassle, especially compared with Costco's 90-day return policy.
