Ordering from the LG partner store recently was the absolute worst experience of my life. Multiple delays, lies, and nobody having a clue as to what happened or how to fix it. Took me over a month to get appliances.

I'd avoid unless you have a ton of patience to deal with them.

OLED in general doesn't get as searingly bright as the better LCD's do. The higher end OLEDS get decently bright, but the B series is the base tier.That said, it's only really an issue if you are viewing in a very bright environment. Otherwise, the rest of the good attributes of OLED easily outweigh the lack of maximum brightness. At this price, you won't find a set with better picture quality for the money.

To add to this. I recently watched Alien 1979 4K HDR on a B4 in the dark and it was a total assault on my eyes, in a good way. The strobing/flashing light scene are bright enough that I reflexively squinted.

yeah i got the sc9s but dont exactly need it for my use case (casual viewing). i think its on backorder but the current deal ($1134) isnt too bad if you dont need the bundled soundbar and can return the bundle for about 300+ back. but you dont seem to be in a rush, you might see an even better sb bundle in the future.

lol i only had to return the bt speaker and soundbar so i didnt have to worry about it. they did say call UPS for pickup, but you just get redirected by the bot to the website which tries to charge you for a pickup so....

So if you say you don't want the extras you still get a full amount refund? Even if you got it as a discounted bundle?

wont be full amount - the sc9s was i think 699 but they'll only refund 418. i did try to sell it myself for a few days @500-550 but got no takers so might as well just take the offer from LG

edit: had to return it after i received it. the soundbar was delayed and they had an option to cancel for a refund but i was too late

Do you know what the refund is when requesting a return or cancel? I ask since I see this in the small print on the promo:

If any of the qualifying items are removed from the cart or part of the order is cancelled or returned, the promotional savings will be void.

So I'm wondering if I try cancelling soundbar after the TV ships, they may just call it a day n say tyvm.

I called first - promised $418 and some change for the soundbar. Its on its way so I havent gotten the soundbar refund yet. But the BT speaker was refunded for around $123. If the soundbar is refunded and I dont get charged the full price for the TV then I should be good. Didnt see that disclaimer though...
