How do you feel about this one vs the HP Omen Max 5080 you posted recently? This has better build quality, and I think the 5080 is in store MC only deal. Which do you think is the better deal?

I had the same question as i bought this exact same lenovo last week at MC for 1800 bucks. The omen 5080 is for sale there now instead.

Omen will be 15-20% more FPS on GPU heavy titles for sure. The Ultra 9 is a stronger performer at cpu heavy titles on 1080 and 1440p. Build quality is roughly on par, the omen is slightly thinner while the legion has an oled panel. Personally I think the 5080 laptop would be a better choice at 1800 and if the legion was 1600 I would choose it over the omen.

The 16gb of the 5080 over the 12 here would be a major factor for me.
