more context: The vast majority won't notice the difference between M4 and M3 CPU on their day to day use. The differences more likely to be noticed are:
M4 has a 12mp webcam vs 1080p on M3 2. can drive 2 monitors with the screen open, while the m3 only does 2 screens total, laptop included (must be closed to use dual monitors).

MLX is probably best but I have yet to find a user-friendly MLX client that is open source (outside of LM Studio, which is not open source).
But I'm glad 8GB isn't the base anymore, so we won't have to filter those starting with the m4.
