i listen to audiobooks constantly and my wife never hears them unless i have them loud AND she's riiight next to me, and i can still hear her talk. music is mostly the same but of course a little more sound bleed. they're great at directing the sound to your ears and not elsewhere.
the only con is that they're sooo comfortable that i have accidentally worn them in the shower at least 10 times, only realizing after i've saturated my hair - they only claim water resistance of ipx4 which is for "sweat" but they've survived this.
and, i'm constantly losing one or the other... and you have to have both in the case to connect to a new device. at $30, i'm ready to buy a second pair.
editing to add: the app lets you change what the touch controls do for one tap, two taps, and i think hold as well. touch controls do suck, but it's a concave 'button' that is easy to identify with your finger.
