I had an ideapad and it never got support, updated bios or anything compared to Thinkpad. All the reviews I've seen on the superior cooling system is on Legions.

I believe the performance would be pretty bad with a 5050.

The legion will be much more powerful. Performance isn't just about the name of the graphics card. Wattage and cooling make a big difference.
