This is a no-frills portable display. There isn't much to pro/con. These are more of a "if you don't know why you need it, you probably don't". I use these when traveling to client or remote sites and need a 2nd display for workflow management or separating shared vs not-shared content in meetings.

It's got basic display functionality but don't expect anything beyond a serviceable display.

I think the only good thing here is you are buying from Costco. Easy to return if you don't like it.

I ordered one for onsite visits for clients and connect to servers on occassion. It'll be nice to have something that isn't a full size monitor to haul around.

Picked up the MSI ProMP161E2 from Best Buy for $50 last week. This looks like a similar model, works for what it is, color accuracy is bad on paper but it looks fine in person for a spare screen.

This is great frankly. It has the main thing these portables usually don't at this price range which is VESA mounting. That plus a name brand at this price point is fantastic.

Anybody know if these are cheaper in store?
Also it doesn't say anywhere in the product description but one of the reviews says that it comes with a sleeve. I know the Acer one that's also being sold by Costco doesn't have a case or sleeve.

This will work great for my TrueNAS server. Don't need a display but for minimal need.

Would not recommend this for gaming. Would be a good secondary screen for a laptop or a PC.

Thinking of maybe getting this as a standalone monitor for my Unifi camera/console window. Anyone use something like this for a similar use case?
I have a similar monitor from Asus that I use as a display for my Lorex NVR camera system. Plug in HDMI and get USB power from the Lorex console. Plug and play, works well.

You mean there's a 90" 4k OLED touchscreen with 1200hz refresh rate for $500.00 out there?

How fragile are these for travel? I needed one on a recent trip but didn't get one because of this worry. Doesn't seem like it comes with a case/sleeve made to fit this. I'd rather not chuck it into a laptop sleeve and find it broken. Please comment on checked bag and carry on scenarios.
