Chewy is a legit company for pet products and you can Google Chewy BBB to see they have an A+ rating. I've purchased many pet items from Chewy.

A very good price... Whoa. Nice deal OP.

edit: seriously don't understand the down votes, this is a freaking $100 cheaper than anywhere else.

Chewy has been in the pet business for many years. I buy from them at least once a month. Lol. Their customer service is top notch too, so if you're not happy with a purchase, they will absolutely make it right! I have not, however, purchased anything other than pet products so can't speak to this specific item

The Insta360 X4 is being treated as a strong action camera deal, especially for 360 video, live events, concerts, biking, and hiking. The price is widely framed as unusually low, with comparisons to higher recent prices and bundle deals, and a coupon can drop it to about $299.99 before tax when it works. The main tradeoffs are the older X4 hardware, including weaker low light, a screen some would rather replace with a remote, and lenses that can scratch easily. The pet camera label is just Chewy search marketing, not the product's real purpose, making this a solid value if the X4 fits your use case.

  • people who can get the X4 at an unusually low price (like around $120) because commenters say $120 is a killer deal and they've seen it that low at Target, making the purchase feel unusually worthwhile.

    GBJGBJGBJx3dreadinny

  • live event and concert shooters who want a 360 camera for recording on the go because one commenter says they use the X4 at live events and concerts and find it awesome for that use.

    dreadinny

  • buyers who are comfortable using the X4 through software and don't need it to stand alone as a "pet camera" because commenters note it doesn't stand on its own and requires software to be useful, but they still make it work for their own purposes.

    dreadinny

  • motorcycle riders and hikers who expect their 360 camera to get beat up because commenters warn that lens scratching can become immediately obvious in footage and that replacement lenses (like on the X5) would be a big improvement for rough use.

    yeti79init0

  • pet owners expecting a true pet-specific setup because multiple commenters say the "pet camera" framing is misleading (it's an action cam, and one person even couldn't find the mounting point on their dog).

    highlanderfilHotpuck6

  • people who want a screen-first experience or rely on on-device controls because one commenter says the X4 screen is pretty useless and they'd rather have a remote included.

    NSXMK3

  • cyclists or anyone doing windy "talking while riding" audio because commenters say the X4 microphone is practically unusable in wind, while the X5 is much better for that scenario.

X5 features replacement lenses.
.
If you scratch a 360 cam lens, game over. Found out that on a Gopro 360

I prefer having a dog over a camera for a pet.

You're such a liar. You've never adopted a pet camera thus you wouldn't know.

I read Chewy now does (some?) deliveries using Ontrac. Who are they? Some sort of Gig delivery company and they are the worst. I've bought a number of things from a retailer that uses them and every package had issues & the last one disappeared entirely.

So is Reddit. People there have identified Ontrac as handling their deliveries.

Questionable pet compatibility. I've searched all over my dog for the mounting point and can't find it anywhere.

This is the biggest change for me. I use my 360 cams for motorcycle riding and hiking and they get beat up a lot so having lenses I could change would be a huge improvement.

Does this only take good videos of pets or can it be used for people too? 🤣

It's amazing how nobody has yet pointed out the fact that this is not, in fact, a pet camera. It's an action cam, full stop. How would you even use it as a pet camera?

I scored one for $120 at Target a few weeks ago, worth checking locally if there's any stock in-store.
$120 I don't believe you for some reason.

Would Amazon match this price? The BB return policy is not that great.

Anybody know if this is legit ? Early Black Friday ? Never bought anything from Chewy before
Wow, people in here asking legitimite questions and getting downvoted into oblivion. SD community is going to the crapper. Some people have actually never heard of a lot of these internet only storefronts.
