I've wanted to hear a single and stereo paired Encore models to compare against my Partybox 110 for a long time now. It's just always hard to justify after JBL had the Partybox 110 go on sale for just $200 last year. My only regret is not getting a second to pair them together.

Would this work for a workshop/backyard BBQ speaker or should I hold out for the Partybox 120 to go on sale?

I think you should hold off for the PartyBox 120 to go back on sale at Costco for $250

Totally agree I missed the same deal, the 110 is sweet and even on battery lasts long time!

I have 2 encore models paired in my gym garage and they are plenty sufficient. Although I plan on upgrading to 2 of the 120s if Costco has their sale again. Why? Just because.
