This GMKtec mini PC stands out as a compact Ryzen 7 Pro 6850H box with 32GB of DDR5, a 1TB SSD, Radeon 680M graphics, and room to grow to 96GB of RAM and more storage. The hardware is described as overkill for a Plex server or Minecraft server, and the 680M can run AI models in LM Studio with about half the system memory. It also gets credit for easy Proxmox setup through a browser interface, plus HDMI 2.1 and Oculink for eGPU support. The main caution is price, since the Amazon discount looks small versus GMKtec's own site and a newer 7640HS option appears at the same price.

Please link. What i'm seeing are several threads with mac mini's with 1/2 the ram and 1/4 the SSD at $450. If you're saying there was a new mac mini with 32GB ram and 1TB ssd under $400 I'd be interested.

$410 at website, so not a great savings, maybe $20 with amazon. I think amazon still has free shipping if you're buying $35 of stuff.

From what I have read, Minisforum tends to target a higher end user and often uses higher end parts, that also are going to cost more than GMKtec. There are always some complaints about customer support from both companies.

Dell Optiplex Micro 5050 and 7050 series are enough for that and can be had for $100ish or so.
