We have Hisense Roku (3 different models) and had no success getting generic controls to work in voice - even ones that featured voice buttons. If you have the dark-silver-color voice remote, you need to buy one of those (generic, $40+) to get voice control to work. At least for our 3 Hisense models, that is, YMMV.
To make my point, another seller has had this exact remote in a 4-pack for $11.99 for quite a while.

So these look ok if your dog ate your remote and you have a Roku TV. On a side note, we have a TCL Roku TV and the integrated Roku is absolute dogsh!t. It is so horribly slow I bought a Roku stick to use instead, which comes with the RF remote. I only use the IR remote when the TV goes psycho and stops responding or stops switching inputs (about once a month).
The app is functional, but wonky and not tactile. Fine for a backup (or bluetooth listening) but otherwise meh.
For a main TV, just pay the $15-$20 for the OE voice remote.
(The original Roku remote was the best -- chunky, rectangular, well built. I don't know why they're still making these tiny roundback models with the awkward side buttons. You get used to it, but still a terrible design.)

1. Volume button placement. OEM remotes use a side placement, which is weird until you are trained on it. Some replacement remotes move it back to the front. Also a few do not have any volume controls, so look out for that. This remote has front volume buttons.
2. The streaming service buttons. There are 3rd party and OEM remotes with different permutations of Netflix, Hulu, appleTV, disney, HBO, roku channel, etc, etc. Some older ones will be for services that don't exist anymore.
3. Number of channel buttons. Some are 4 button, some are 6 button. Think I saw an 8 button with some weird options.
My family uses Netflix, Hulu, roku, disney, and prime in that order and I *cannot* find a remote with all five, or even the top four that *also* have volume buttons. So I'm getting one without roku-channel with side buttons, which is a different remote (2 for $8)
