Very tempted, basically exact specs I'm looking for. Is 16 vs 24gb a meaningful difference for most people? Do we think we'll see better prices at Black Friday?

I'd be happy with 16GB and more storage. This is basically buying for a 2 level upgrade on the SSD?

I have a 24GB m2 air. The difference between 16 and 24gb is meaningful if you are say a developer. Running xcode and making a small ios app with emulator running, 24GB has 0 swap, 16GB swaps like 7-8GB same with android studio etc..... If you are say surfing the internet I can't see it making a difference though
