I'd look for a deal on refurb OLED if that is your goal.
I personally bought a refurb on ebay Acer OLED 120hz 2880x1800 display, Intel 256v, 16gb RAM, and 1tb NVME for $680-$50 Klarna discount at the time.
Seemed like the best bang for buck for me, though I was really hoping to find the same with the 258v and 32gb of ram, if one shows up this holiday (I know it will) I am gonna be pissed.
Though I would have preferred the AMD equivalent, I could never find anything that checked all the marks. I know there are some that are close. The HP Omnibook at microcenter for $750 I think is the best bang for the buck, since it is also new

No; this is the newer AMD chip so updated GPU that's a pretty decent update over previous ones.
Only weakness is systems that do not use LPDDR5 which is faster. But you lose the ability to update your memory.
This is also Zen5 which is an update but not as big as the GPU updates on this.

Great Value
This is a very nice laptop with some high end specs. The only downside for me is the use of a USB port for power. I would rather have the additional port for accessory use.
