Thanks for linking this. Definitely a better deal than my original post. I don't know much about these deals being "hackable" ... is there a way to return the batteries and keep the tool if you're already swimming in batteries?

So I'm not the only one swimming in batteries?! lol

Not when they come as part of a package. The hackable deals are usually buy something, get a "free" tool. They have to show up with individual prorated prices in the cart. That's when they are hackable.
The second one is a real SD, except for the laughable, low amp tiny charger that comes with it. Most likely someone buying this already has at least one Real Ryobi charger.

Yeah, weird of them to include that low amp charger on the high performance battery series. Maybe it's required for those batteries?
That second one is an awesome deal and I got it. Just one of those batteries was over $100 not long ago.
Been looking to get into Ryobi as a cheaper alternative to existing DeWalt collection, as well as a router for likely infrequent use. $99 option is perfect.
