What is the difference between Ni-MH and Lithium Batteries ?
Lithium AA/AAA batteries stay at a fixed 1.5v throughtout the discharge cycle while NiMH start at 1.2v and continue to drop during its discharge cycle.
The lithiums are better for devices that require higher voltages, such as a blink camera.
Eneloops will have a much lower self discharge rate during storage due to a lack of built in electronics that are in 1.5v lithium batteries (voltage converter/ charging board).

Proprietary charger is needed. These will not charge in a regular NiMh charger (or solar light).
These are cheap. Likely they are also low end. NO ONE KNOWS how long they will hold up with use.....NO ONE. Don't believe the marketing. They can say whatever they want. It's up to US the CONSUMERS to valideate it. MOST Amazon reviews on batteries are poor to useless.
Eneloop are expensive, but top of the line. Taken care of they can last a decade.
VERY few devices NEED .1.5v to function.
If you buy them, you become part of the experiment. Try to be a good scientist and provide good data.
But, I wouldn't be at all surprised if this brand is completely gone in 2-4 months and replaced with.....something else.

GREAT comparison of the different AA battery chemistries. Includes discharge rate, runtimes, etc.

Google Sheets summary of the video, but without the watching the video some of the graphs can be overwhelming
So an extra $1.39 for the convenience of being able to charge all 8 batteries simultaneously.
Edit: Actually .50 less now at $9.49 w/ S&S.
