FatMax is better right? I know they used to be metal and really heavy duty. Are they still high quality?

Thanks, been looking for some with double sided measurements.

I don't see much point in buying super expensive tape measures. They get lost, stolen, and beat up...

Old school Stanley is all anyone needs. My dad has ran a building company for 40 years and never needed anything else.

Why none of the pics shows the base length? That's the amount to need to add when the base has to be part of the measured total.

Not exactly apples to apples, you are comparing Dewalt magnetic to Fatmax classic (not magnetic).

Not sure how these compare to the Dewalt Atomic compact tape measure, but if they are anywhere near the same, they are garbage. Buy something else
