If you want to save $2 then go ahead, but at under $5 you should pick this up if you are already going to HD. It's a great screwdriver to keep in the junk cabinet of a kitchen.

just want to add that you don't have to drive to hd as you can also have it delivered for free.

Anything better about this than the ~$2.50 Harbor Freight one?

Slightly heavier, maybe a bit better quality but not by much.

I have this. The handle is good quality but the tips strip easily. The HF one's handle is very low quality.

Agree that this is a good screw driver for junk cabinet. The tools that are most accessible get used the most. Been using mine for years. If garage kept and in humid environment, expect rust (but that's every tool). Still works

I hate screwdrivers using special bits. Once these bits are gone, typically the most useful one, the replacement bits will be more expensive than the $5 you pay now. Better spend a bit more and buy one using general bits.

I like it worth $5. Convenience of 4 popular size in 1 tool. Keep around the house/car. This is made in Taiwan. Some situations a single individual screwdriver works better but this all in one probably does 95% of tasks. The next issue would be comfortably. As I got older using this on heavy duty or long periods my palm/hand aches. Another choice would be Klein with cushion grip but double the price.

These are EXCELLENT, cheap screwdrivers. Better than any Harbor Freight one I have had. I have 5 of them total (one at the work office, one in the truck, one in the toolbox in the garage, two throughout the house). I have had them for years and never had any stripped bits.

Harbor Freight almost always gets a bad rep in these forums.

This type of driver is good for working on anything with a 1/4" or 5/16 sheet metal screw, like a clothes dryer, etc

Nope - I probably like the HF one better minus the rubber handle that will gather dirt and grit and wear out. Don't love the bits in the Husky one, I feel like they cam out and are not great but it'll work. The HF one is probably not much different but for a few bucks that would be expected. They're fairly equivalent in my opinion though. I do love my Milwaukee screw driver...lower price point but good quality. Might be able to grab one during holiday specials coming up.
